Sales & Operations Administrator
📍 Letchworth | Full-Time | £26,000 + Bonus + Pension | Immediate Start

We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sales & Operations Administrator to join a growing business in the Test and Measurement industry. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideally suited to someone with experience in sales order processing, shipping logistics, and invoicing.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the sales team and customers—managing everything from processing orders and handling shipping to updating systems and ensuring a smooth order-to-invoice workflow. The role includes some light marketing admin, such as keeping social media channels up to date, but this is not a core focus.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

1. Process and track customer and service/lab test orders accurately.

2. Manage sales order processing from purchase order to invoice, with an understanding of Incoterms, VAT, and payment terms.

3. Handle shipping arrangements and documentation (UK & international – DHL, APC).

4. Manage purchase orders and assist with creditor/debtor administration.

5. Maintain internal systems including Sage 50 (essential) and Salesforce (training provided).

6. Act as a point of contact for customer queries and delivery issues.

7. Support general office administration and documentation.

8. Light-touch marketing support – e.g. updating social media and company website as needed.

✅ About You:

9. Proven experience in sales administration, order processing, or a similar operational role.

10. Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 (essential).

11. Understanding of shipping/logistics, invoicing, and general finance processes.

12. Organised and methodical with strong attention to detail.

13. Good communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude.

14. Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

15. Experience with Salesforce is a bonus, but training will be provided.

16. Location: Letchworth

17. Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time

18. Salary: £26,000 + Bonus Scheme + Pension Contribution

19. Holiday: 25 days annually (plus bank holidays)

20. Start: Immediate
