Prospero Teaching are supporting a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in the Chester area who are seeking a full-time KS2 Teacher for a long-term role starting in January. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who thrives in the upper or lower Key Stage 2 classroom and is committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential.
The role
As a KS2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that support pupils’ academic progress and personal development. You will work alongside a supportive senior leadership team, teaching assistants and specialist staff to ensure every child feels confident, valued and challenged. The school are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, child-centred and highly committed to creating a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
7. Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
8. Creating a warm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
9. Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress
10. Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and academic development
11. Working closely with teaching assistants and wider school staff
12. Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
13. Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

The ideal candidate
18. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
19. Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
20. Confident, enthusiastic and able to deliver engaging lessons
21. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
22. Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards
23. Understanding of safeguarding and school policies
