Position Overview
The School of Geography and Environmental Science is seeking to appoint a Senior Project Administrator to support the UKRI funded project ‘Food Aid Inequality Rectified (FAIR-food)’ led by Prof. Dianna Smith and colleagues. The project aims to support change in the food aid system, particularly food pantries in Southampton, the New Forest, and the Isle of Wight, working with local government, third sector partners, and communities. The role involves developing an online platform for improved collaboration and engaging communities to tailor interventions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Organise internal and external events, including coordinating diaries, booking venues, and providing relevant information.
2. Support project communications both internally and externally.
3. Manage financial and research administration processes, including budget monitoring.
4. Provide secretarial and PA services to the project lead, such as managing diaries, organizing meetings, drafting documentation, and attending meetings as needed.

* Position is tenable at 0.4 FTE, starting 1st June 2025, until 31st March 2028.
