We are a welcoming and supportive SEMH secondary school in Bolton, committed to providing high-quality education and tailored interventions for students who need a nurturing and structured environment to thrive. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team.

The Role:
As an Intervention Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Work with individual students and small groups, delivering targeted academic and emotional support.
* Assist in the planning and delivery of bespoke intervention programmes (literacy, numeracy, behaviour, or social skills).
* Build positive relationships with students, supporting their personal and emotional development.
* Work closely with teaching staff, SENCO, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective support.
* Help maintain a calm, safe and engaging learning environment tailored to SEMH needs.
Please note: You must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as the role may involve working across multiple sites and supporting students off-site when needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
* Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEN, or behavioural needs (preferred).
* A calm, empathetic and patient approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* The ability to manage challenging behaviour positively and proactively.
* A willingness to learn, reflect and grow within a supportive team.
