A supportive and inclusive primary school in Sefton is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional needs and make a real difference to their educational journey. As an SEN LSA, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs. This may include working 1:1 with a child or supporting small groups, helping to ensure all pupils can access learning in a positive and engaging environment.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
* Assist in delivering tailored interventions and activities
* Support pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
* Help manage behaviour and promote positive learning attitudes
* Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals
* Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting
* A patient, caring, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* A proactive and flexible attitude
* A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
* Competitive daily rate of £102 - £115
* Consistent full-time hours (8:30am - 3:30pm)
