Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care to individuals in their home environment, particularly those with dementia and learning disabilities and children.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support with medication administrations, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Monitor and document clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the managers.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents by adhering to health and safety protocols.
* Ensuring that all incidents are documented appropriately.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in care work or a related field is preferred, particularly in senior care or assisted living settings.
* A valid driving licence and own vehicle is essential.
* Certification in first aid is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and their families.
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in your care.
