Role Overview
EVO, short for Erp VOdafone, is one of the largest single-instance SAP systems globally. It integrates S4 and SaaS solutions, providing a comprehensive ERP platform for Vodafone. EVO is transitioning to RISE with SAP, enhancing capabilities and streamlining operations, reflecting Vodafone's commitment to technological innovation.
The Finance Systems Strategy Lead will be a key member of the EVO Governance & Strategy Team, responsible for defining the strategic direction and governance of finance systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong finance management skills, extensive experience in financial services, and a good understanding of business operations. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills, along with strong stakeholder management abilities, are essential.
This role may require occasional travel.
Responsibilities
1. Define and own the strategic vision for finance systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
2. Establish and enforce governance frameworks to monitor system performance, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
3. Act as the primary liaison between executive leadership, IT, and Finance teams regarding finance systems.
4. Lead large-scale finance system projects from strategy to execution, ensuring timely, within-budget delivery.
5. Drive the roadmap for finance system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
Qualifications and Skills
* Expertise in Finance processes (P2P, Intercompany, Record to Report, Treasury & Cash Management, T&E, Order to Cash).
* Stakeholder management experience across various levels.
* Experience managing multicultural change programs.
* Ability to manage conflicting priorities and opinions.
* Understanding of business requirements and system solutions interactions.
* Qualified Chartered Accountant.
* SAP FICO proficiency.
* Project management skills (Prince 2, PMBOK, PMI).
* Knowledge of Cloud & ERP systems is a plus.
