We are recruiting a Complex Healthcare Assistants to support an individual with athetoid cerebral palsy and spinal scoliosis who requires 24-hour ventilatory support via tracheostomy, including suctioning and careful positioning for comfort. We are seeking a reliable, punctual, warm, and compassionate carer who enjoys being chatty and engaging. We are looking for someone proactive, energetic, sociable and creative who can keep him engaged and stimulated throughout the day to support his social, emotional and physical health needs. Strong epilepsy and seizure management experience is essential, along with experience supporting people with learning disabilities to engage in a wide range of opportunities. Superior Healthcare will provide full, paid classroom-based training when you join us and paid induction shifts and ongoing supervision support from our in-house team of nurses and supervisors. If a clients needs mean that you require extra skills (for example, if they need assistance to meet their nutritional requirements), we will provide paid, specialist training to ensure that you, as a community care assistant, can confidently support their needs and develop your own skills.
