Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a Finance Business Partner for a growing organisation in Merthyr Tydfil
The commercial accountant will be:
1. Liaising with the senior sales and finance teams to maximise sales and profit opportunities.
2. Liaising with the sales teams on pricing and margin analysis.
3. Work with Purchasing team to improve business processes and ensure financial targets are met. Key focus areas are purchasing processes, commodity forecasts, purchase price variance reporting
4. Deliver accurate financial information to the business in a methodical and timely manner
5. To provide senior management with KPIs (financial and non financial) and periodic reports on trading forecasts, budgets and targets, highlighting risks and opportunities
6. Providing all purchasing financial information required for the annual Budget and periodic Forecasts and Strategic
7. Coordinate the underlying pricing assumptions for these projections
8. Costing of new products being developed through provision of forward looking material prices.
9. To model the impact of input cost changes on profitability.
10. Work closely with supply chain to assess the financial implications of decisions in terms of stockholding, consignment stocks, distribution, write offs and supplier payment terms.
