Steel Fixer
Start Date - Monday 16th February 2026
£26 per hour CIS, £20 per hour PAYE
Midhurst, West Sussex
We are due to commence work on a large industrial project in Midhurst and we are looking for a number of steel fixers to joine the existing site team. Any applicants must have heavy industrial experience and hold a valid Blue CSCS card. This is a temporary position for around 4 months and is based on 45 hours per week.
As a Steel Fixer your duties will involve.
* Position and secure steel reinforcement bars or reinforcement steel mesh to reinforce concrete structures.
* Read and interpret reinforcement plans/drawings and reinforcement schedules.
* Set out the work from provided instructions.
* Cut and bend steel bars or mesh to the required length/shape using bolt cutters, guillotines, or power saws.
You Must have
* CSCS Card
* NVQ Level 2
* Relevant experience
Standard Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5pm
