Occupational Therapist
Job Reference: 10245
Type: Permanent contract, 37 hours per week
Salary: £37,280 to £41,771 per annum pro rata, Grade I/J, Norwich Locality.
Location: County Hall, Norwich.
The County Hall team is recruiting a full‑time Occupational Therapist (Level 2 preferred). Applicants should have experience working with adults who have complex needs and their carers, including older people discharged from community hospitals, younger people under 65 with a physical disability and their carers. A registered HCPC practitioner is required.
A £2,000 welcome payment is offered to qualified and experienced Occupational Therapists (grade J and above) new to Norfolk County Council. The amount is repayable in full if you leave within two years.
We provide a protected half‑day per month for continuing professional development, regular supervision, and an experienced, supportive team. Your role will require person‑centred practice and the ability to work in complex situations; regular in‑person work in both the office and community is required.
Flexible working is built into the way we work. Hybrid working is a key feature for many roles, but you will need to work regularly on‑site to build meaningful relationships with the people we support.
For informal discussion please contact Debbie Woods (Team Manager) on 01603 217722 or Vicky Brown (Practice Consultant) on 01603 217614.
To apply, please read the full Job Description and Person Specification and include a statement in your application explaining why you meet the criteria. CVs without a supporting statement will not be accepted.
