Krinkels UK is seeking a reliable and professional Grave Digger to join our team in Welwyn. The role involves preparing graves for burial services, including measuring and marking plots, excavating to required specifications, installing shoring, dressing the grave prior to services, and carrying out backfilling following interments.
You will liaise with funeral directors on-site to confirm arrangements and accommodate any necessary changes. The position also includes general grounds maintenance duties and responsibility for locking and unlocking the cemetery to ensure site security. This role requires precision, physical fitness, strong communication skills, and a respectful approach when working around grieving families.
Pay rate starts at £15/hour and will increase depending on experience.
