Our client is a UK-leading, independent, and employee-owned multi-disciplinary practice, who integrate residential and commercial architecture, engineering, planning, and surveying to meet all their client’s development needs.
An exciting opportunity has now arisen in their practice for a Junior Architectural Technician to join the residential team based in Bedford. The successful candidate will bring anything up to 5 years of UK-based experience, demonstrating proficiency in AutoCAD and a passion for contributing to diverse architectural projects.

Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Junior Architectural Technician:
1. Relevant Architectural Technology or Pat 1 degree.
2. Assist in the preparation of detailed architectural drawings and plans using AutoCAD.
3. Support the project team in the development of technical solutions and construction detailing.
4. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to deliver high-quality design outcomes.
5. Conduct site visits and surveys to gather essential project information.
6. Ensure all work complies with relevant building regulations and standards.
7. Contribute to the preparation of planning applications and other statutory requirements.
8. Anything up to 5 years of experience working as an Architectural Technician in the UK.
9. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
10. Knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methods.
11. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
12. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
13. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development.
