Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, organised and motivated person to help deliver our ambitious engagement and communication strategies for NHS Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly ICB and partner communication and engagement teams. This role is hands‑on, creative and busy, involving face‑to‑face work with the ICB team and out and about in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Responsibilities
* Support the co‑ordination of relevant engagement and communications across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, understanding the population, forming relationships with stakeholders and identifying local communication channels and tactics.
* Produce digital communications, including films for use in our Board, AGM, staff briefings, system bulletins and engagement events; create engaging social media shorts and static assets for health communications campaigns.
* Plan, book and coordinate engagement activities throughout the year as part of a wider strategy.
* Support the wider team on a variety of communication and engagement projects, including those triggered by major incidents or system pressures.
* Assist ICB colleagues with communications and engagement requests, capturing requests and working with the Director of Engagement to prioritise, deliver or delegate work.
