Professor Herb is a fast growing, youthful business in East Goscote, Leicester LE7 3XD. We are a leading manufacturer of hemp based products.
Professor Herb is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Production/Manufacturing Manager to join their expanding team and spearhead their inhouse manufacturing department within a cleanroom manufacturing enviroment.
The Production/Manufacturing Manager must be forward thinking, a fast learner and assertive, managing a small team of production operatives. Previous manufacturing experience is ideal but not essential.
Working within a small growing team, the Production/Manufacturing Manager must be able to work efficiently and proactively as part of a team, as well as manage the team and be responsible for the process end to end.
The role of the Production/Manufacturing Operative will be to manufacture a range of products, using equipment and processes. The products we manufacture are;
* Hemp Rolls
* Hemp Mixes
* Various Vaping Products
The Manufacturing Managers responsibilities will include;
* Manages the production lab end to end and be responsible for every aspect
* Manages and ensures safety and food hygiene is adhered to
* Manages the stock and supply levels for production
* Responsible for ensuring we meet KPI's and targets within production
* Responsible for machine safety, servicing and maintenance (using contractors)
The ideal candidate should be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Word/Excel.
This role is Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 16:30 with 30 minutes unpaid break and 30 minutes paid break.
Full training will be provided.
