The Role Are you a senior fixed income credit sales professional with 9 years of experience covering real‑money investors — especially Global and European asset managers? MarketAxess is expanding its London Sales team and is seeking a high‑impact Senior Sales Relationship Manager who thrives in fast‑paced, client‑centric environments. In this role, you will drive strategic engagement across leading real‑money institutions, deepen wallet share, and help clients unlock new value through MarketAxess’ trading, data, and workflow solutions. What You’ll Do Own and grow relationships with Global and European asset managers based in London Deliver strategic coverage across investment‑grade, high‑yield, emerging‑markets credit, and ETFs. Be an expert on the market, anticipate customer needs, and pursue opportunities to increase market share. Drive new business by uncovering new opportunities and shaping compelling narratives for trading heads, portfolio managers, and execution teams. Present MarketAxess’ trading technology, data analytics, and workflow tools. Proactively identify solutions that can help customers grow their business and drive new revenue. Present executive level presentations and metrics to communicate team strategy, accomplishments and goals. Develop, pursue and push through to closing, high value opportunities. What You Bring 9 years of fixed income credit sales experience. Proven track record covering real‑money accounts (Global & European asset managers) Deep market knowledge across credit asset classes. Ability to articulate value across trading, data, analytics, and workflow solutions. Strong communication skills—able to articulate data value to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Experience working with technology groups, becoming familiar with infrastructure, components and workflows. Experience using Salesforce.com to manage pipelines and forecast effectively. Experience using AI to analyze trading and market data, surface client‑relevant insights, and inform strategic account growth Motivation to operate in a dynamic, high‑growth environment. Experience leading by example in high performing teams to exceed goals. Ability to interact and provide insight to line-traders and trading management. Creative problem‑solving skills and the resilience to navigate a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment. Highly organized, disciplined approach to follow‑ups, client engagement, and pipeline management. What You Can Expect from Us Central Location: based at our city offices near St Paul's.
