Salary: £26,000 – £29,000 DOE + Overtime Opportunities

Role Summary
Reporting to the Water Hygiene Manager, the successful candidate will carry out a variety of water hygiene and Legionella control tasks across a diverse client portfolio. You will represent the company on client sites, support compliance activities and maintain strong relationships through professionalism and high-quality work.
This role involves a mix of TMV servicing, temperature monitoring, sampling, descaling, disinfection works and assisting with tank cleans and calorifier maintenance. You will work alongside a friendly and knowledgeable team, delivering a reliable and customer-focused service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out water testing and sampling across client sites
* Perform a range of water hygiene duties including temperature checks, TMV servicing, descaling and flushing
* Descale and clean shower heads and hoses
* Support fellow engineers with cold-water tank cleans and disinfection works
* Service calorifiers, hot water cylinders and expansion vessels
* Conduct calorifier cleaning/descaling as required
* Maintain compliance with LCA standards and site requirements
* Record all work accurately using PDA/Compliance systems
* Provide clear communication and build positive working relationships with customers
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a water hygiene/Legionella control role
* Legionella Awareness or equivalent water hygiene qualifications (City & Guilds etc.) desirable
* Strong basic understanding of ACOP L8, HSG 274 Parts 1–3
* Ability to use a PDA/compliance system for reporting
* Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work independently
* Ability to make recommendations based on site findings
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Clean DBS check
