Senior Development Technologist
Peterborough, UK
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and launch new products (including duplications) for specified customers to achieve sales growth.
* Link design activity to business strategy by delivering innovative products within the constraints of the brief.
* Use sound commercial and technical awareness of ingredients, processes, and customer requirements to deliver ‘right first time’.
* Provide technical support to operations/logistics/purchasing for cost release, quality maintenance, and improvement programs.
* Interact with customers to support relationship building and customer intimacy strategy.
* Interact with suppliers and the marketplace to ensure up-to-date ingredients and technologies are employed in new developments.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
* Food technology/Food Science Degree
* On-bench development experience in salad dressings, condiments, and sauces relevant to our portfolio (or in a similar food environment)
* RSQ experience
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to manage competing priorities
