You will be a key part of the pharmacy team, working across the healthcare area and dispensary, to meet patients’ needs. Your focus each day will be to deliver a great service to our patients, through holding conversations tailored to the individual needs of each patient and delivering on the operational requirements of the position. As an Area Support Dispenser, you will be expected to work closely with the deputy area manager to provide support to struggling pharmacies, build on your leadership skills and support with the training and development of others. It will provide you with an exciting opportunity to develop into one of our future leaders. Please note, this role is classed as a relief position and you will be required to travel across the pharmacies in the area when the need arises. This is a great opportunity to develop your career in pharmacy. Job Description Accurately dispensing prescription medications to patients. Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient queries. Delivering exceptional standards through operational compliance to ensure efficiency and maximise profitability. Managing stock, including ordering, date checking, and organizing medications. Ensuring compliance with all legal and professional requirements. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and promote our services. Working closely with the Deputy Area Manager and the pharmacy teams to support their development and operational compliance. What you’ll need to have. We’re offering you an exciting opportunity to continue your professional journey. You will need to have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and may currently be or have previous experience of working as a Pharmacy Dispenser to join us. Or, you may have previous experience of managing people and leading teams and are looking for a change. NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service (or equivalent) - held for a period of 6 months. Or previous management experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using different IT systems. Be a strong team player. Be willing to travel – driving license essential.
