M&E Quantity Surveyor – Cardiff (£55,000-£70,000)

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team and support the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages across a range of Cardiff projects. This role is ideal for someone confident in cost management who’s ready to take ownership of key commercial duties and progress within a high‑performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cost reporting – Prepare detailed cost plans, forecasts, and financial updates.
2. Measurement & BOQs – Produce accurate quantities and tender documentation.
3. Procurement – Assess subcontractor quotations and lead tender analyses.
4. Valuations & variations – Manage monthly valuations, change control, and variation assessments.
5. Contract administration – Oversee NEC/JCT documentation and ensure commercial compliance.
6. Stakeholder coordination – Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to support smooth project delivery.
What We’re Looking For
7. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with M&E exposure.
8. Strong understanding of building services and commercial processes.
9. Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
10. Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
11. Proactive, organised, and confident managing commercial responsibilities.
