Project Manager Role
Responsible for delivering assigned projects in line with PCE's Delivery strategy. Leads and mentors the project team to ensure safety, timeliness, risk management, and high standards of delivery.
Communicates the project objectives clearly to all team members and establishes effective communication channels, including project monitoring and reporting.
Engages with stakeholders to develop strong, lasting relationships.
Guides the project team by setting personal goals, objectives, and principles for safe and successful project delivery and individual development.
Supports and mentors other project managers as needed.
Leads key project reviews and weekly meetings across all phases: Design, Construction, and Commercial.
Develops and implements the overall project strategy in collaboration with the Project Director.
Reports to the Project Director and PCE Board on project status, issues, and performance, with regular updates.
Monitors project progress, milestones, and interdependencies, establishing specific performance and quality processes.
Ensures all protocols and training are in place for live digital reporting.
Assists with commercial management, including cash flows, payment milestones, and contractual terms, influencing project commercial performance.
Manages procurement processes alongside the Project and Commercial Directors.
Sets high standards for quality, establishing relevant specifications and standards, ensuring compliance with PCE's values and standards at all times.
Coordinates health and safety processes, including CDM compliance.
