We are working with a nationally recognised nursery group to recruit a confident and motivated Deputy Nursery Manager for a newly refurbished setting in Penrith.

About the Role
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth, safe, and effective running of the setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day leadership of the nursery
2. Leading by example to deliver outstanding care and early education
3. Coaching, supporting, and developing nursery staff
4. Ensuring full compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
5. Building strong relationships with parents and carers
6. Supporting occupancy growth and continuous improvement across the setting
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
7. Experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager or strong senior Early Years practitioner ready to step up
8. Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years
9. Confidence in leading teams and supporting operational responsibilities
10. Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted frameworks
11. A proactive, organised, and professional approach
12. A genuine passion for high-quality early years education
