About the Role
(Maternity Cover – Fixed Term)
We are seeking a Donor Relations Manager (DRM) to provide maternity cover during a strategically significant year for our team. This fixed‑term role will ensure continuity and excellence in our well‑established donor relations programme at a time when ODAR is about to launch its first institution‑wide campaign.
Responsibilities
* Lead the management and delivery of a mature, high‑performing donor stewardship programme.
* Project‑manage key activities to recognise and celebrate our donor community.
* Provide excellent line management to the Donor Relations team.
* Ensure the donor relations strategy continues to run smoothly, maintaining high standards and a personalised approach.
* Oversee the delivery of compelling communications, events and recognition activities that articulate the impact of philanthropy.
* Manage operational processes, including donor data oversight and the creation of bespoke “magic moments.”
Qualifications
* Experienced and confident project manager capable of owning a complex, multi‑layered programme.
* Passion for delivering an excellent donor (or stakeholder) experience.
* Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage deadlines and maintain momentum across a busy annual cycle.
* Creativity, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
* Enthusiasm for the power of philanthropy and its impact.
* Motivation to play a central role in a strategically important year for the team.
