We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and experienced Production Team Leader to oversee manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory settings, with hands-on experience in assembly and mechanical processes. This role requires leadership skills to manage a team effectively while ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely. Based in Stanton By Dale Duties Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure optimal workflow. Attend daily production meetings to ensure targets are achieved Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, performing basic maintenance when required. Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement solutions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times. What we are looking for Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Previous experience leading teams or working in a supervisory role is essential. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in all aspects of production work. Able to work days/afternoon/night shifts as and when required What's in it for you - Temporary to Permanent role Pay starts at £15.49 per hour (£31, 400) for a day shift. Night rate is £20.76 (£42,100) Working Monday to Friday (Sunday - Thursday on nights)
