Role: Wedding and Events Manager Hours: 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as required Location: Lewes Pay: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. The Requirements
- Proven experience in wedding, events, hospitality or venue management.
- Strong sales, planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A keen eye for detail and venue presentation.
- Ability to lead events calmly and professionally under pressure.
- Genuine passion for creating memorable experiences for clients and guests.
The Role
- Generate and convert wedding and event enquiries to maximise venue occupancy and revenue.
- Conduct venue tours and consultations, preparing bespoke proposals and securing bookings.
- Manage all aspects of weddings and events from booking through to completion.
- Coordinate timelines, logistics, suppliers, accommodation and guest requirements.
- Act as the lead on event days, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional customer service.
- Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, suppliers and industry partners.
- Monitor sales performance, event delivery and guest feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement.
