Overview
Blend Family are currently looking for a Data Analyst to assist in bringing all of the data from our systems, including POS, labour, stock, and accounting into a single reporting platform within PowerBI. The role will work closely with and report to the Finance Director, based in person in the office in Kelham, Sheffield.
Responsibilities
* Develop dashboards & visualisations in PowerBI to convey complex data in a clear and concise way for all business users.
* Compile and analyze data related to current business issues.
* Use data and technical knowledge to look for inefficiencies in business processes and suggest improvements.
* Build and maintain data pipelines to systems used across Blend, exploring opportunities for automation and efficiencies.
* Ongoing maintenance within systems to ensure effective and consistent practice across head office and the operational estate, allowing for scalability.
* Assist with POS and inventory system menu additions and management.
* System downtime and issues management.
* Be a point of contact for data queries and support, and providing technical support & training.
* Installation of systems in new sites and addition onto necessary platforms.
Key requirements
* Experience with PowerBI or similar business intelligence system.
* 1-2 years of data analysis experience.
* Positive and proactive can-do attitude.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
* Strong knowledge of DAX and ability to write SQL queries.
* Experience using APIs to pull data.
* Good knowledge of different data structures.
* Experience within hospitality, retail, or leisure sectors.
* Experience with Lightspeed, Workforce, Opsimize, or similar products.
