Job Opportunity: Commercial Analyst
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join the Central Commercial team. The primary focus will be on Alcohol, leveraging Musgrave's scale and multichannel reach across Ireland to maximize sales and profit while minimizing costs. Reporting to the Alcohol Lead / Senior Commercial Manager, the analyst will identify, define, and drive commercial opportunities in Alcohol across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes, but is not limited to:
* Partner with the Alcohol Leadership team to deliver strategic benefits through leveraging Musgrave's scale in multichannel reach, cost efficiencies, direct sourcing, brand partnerships, and streamlined supply chains.
* Develop and build alcohol commercial insights and analytics across Ireland.
* Identify and prioritize opportunities related to range, distribution, suppliers, and scale.
* Support the pursuit, reporting, and delivery of these opportunities.
* One Cost Price & Simplification: Identify, define, prioritize, and drive the delivery of cost price benefits across Ireland, including analysis, insight creation, negotiations, and validation with suppliers.
* Direct Sourcing & Supply Chain: Evaluate landscape opportunities to consolidate agency/distributor relationships and report on benefits.
Additional Responsibilities
* Support key commercial initiatives, including technology solutions, cost impact analysis, and strategic projects aimed at cost reduction.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
* A qualified accountant or a third-level business qualification with over 5 years in a senior finance role.
* Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
* Strong strategic, commercial, and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams, including finance, commercial, and IT.
* Ability to develop insights, influence stakeholders, and manage multiple deadlines.
