ROLE: Building Facilities Assistant
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 40 hours
LOCATION: Sellafield - Seascale - Cumbria -CA20 1PG
Mitie have a new opportunity for a motivated and driven Building Facilities Assistant to support the operational day to day Estates Building Management Team and Estates Operations Workplace Management in Cumbria!
Role Responsibilities:
1. Provide support for Safety, Environment, Health, and Infrastructure audits with the Building Manager,
2. Support on the preparation of documentation, coordination during the audit process, and follow-up on any required actions,
3. Support all aspects of Fire Evacuation Procedures, to ensure compliance with regulations,
4. Support with the reporting of faults for fire doors around the site,
5. Perform internal inspections of fire extinguishers and removal of old ones,
6. Perform building walk downs with the Building Manager to check any issues / maintenance requirements,
What we are looking for:
7. A Business Administration qualification,
8. Experience within a customer service / support or Facilities Management sector,
9. Confident in using Microsoft Office packages,
10. A motivated and problem solving attitude,
11. A good team player,
