* CMC Consulting is currently partnering with a well-established and growing business in the FMCG sector.
* Our client is seeking an experienced and versatile finance professional to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the finance function.
* * Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the preparation of monthly accounts, including posting accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
* Prepare timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and performance analysis.
* Manage cash flow, working capital, and prepare detailed cash flow forecasts.
* Lead the financial planning and analysis for the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring financial insights are delivered clearly to stakeholders.
* Manage the end-to-end audit process and drive improvements in internal systems and processes.
* * Skills & Experience
* Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role.
* Proficient IT Skills
* Able to clearly and confidently convey financial messages to both finance and non-finance audiences.
