Overview
We are seeking to further develop our intensive home-based eating disorder treatment pathway in the form of an enhanced care pathway (Intensive Care Pathway - ICP). We are adding a Senior Lead Dietitian to the MDT to offer expert guidance and advanced dietetic assessment and intervention.
Role and Service
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead Dietitian to join our dedicated NELFT London All Age Community Eating Disorder service based within North East London NHS Foundation Trust. The service provides the latest in evidence based NICE concordant psychological interventions to children, young people and their families and adults with an Eating Disorder. The team’s multi-disciplinary approach to the assessment and treatment of individuals with an eating disorder is a real strength.
Responsibilities
* Work with the MDT to deliver the best possible treatment to children, young people and their families and carers.
* Provide advanced dietetic assessment and intervention within the service.
* Support the dietetic element of the service and contribute to innovative approaches for the client group.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Significant NHS experience and the knowledge and skills to work as part of a multi-professional team.
* Experience in eating disorders and dietetics within a NHS setting is implied.
Induction and Joining
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High-Cost Area Supplement
This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,714 and a maximum payment of £5,941) (pro rata for part time staff).
