Financial Controller

Our client, a fast-growing e-commerce manufacturing business based in Bridgend, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
The Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for ensuring financial rigour, supporting commercial decision-making, and embedding strong financial processes across the business. This role requires someone with a hands-on approach who can deliver both strategic oversight and day-to-day financial control.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
* Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
* Oversee cashflow, working capital, and inventory controls.
* Partner with the senior leadership team to drive performance and profitability.
* Manage statutory compliance, audit, and tax requirements.
* Implement process improvements and strengthen financial systems.
* Support and mentor a small finance team.
About You
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller within manufacturing and e-commerce.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge with a commercial mindset.
* Hands-on, detail-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Immediately available or available at short notice.
