The Cardiac Cath Lab Department Director executes direct administration of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Outpatient Cardiology Departments evidenced by achieving results in clinical quality, service excellence, human resources management, and financial management. The Director assists in developing and implementing a strategic plan for the growth and development of the Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Non-Invasive Cardiology services.
Qualifications
Current Pennsylvania Registered Nursing License or temporary practice permit required
Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field or must complete within 3 years of start date in position required
Master's degree in nursing or related healthcare field preferred
Two years of cardiac cath lab experience required
Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required
Demonstrates effective communication and collaboration skills with physicians and all other healthcare team members
Progressive and successful work history
Two years of management experience in acute care setting preferred
Specialty certification preferred
