Housing Management Worker – Norwich
Permanent, part time (18.75 hpw) + sleep ins on a rota system
Salary: Earn £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum pro rata) and benefits including Health Cash Plan
Job purpose

Typical shift
* Customer group - supporting customers who have experienced homelessness with a variety of support needs including but not limited to offending, mental & physical health, substance use.
* Make sure that customers\' properties are homes they can be proud of by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
* Help customers with housing benefit claims, ensuring these are received on their rent account.
* Turn around void rooms within set timescales to support occupancy; this may involve tasks such as sweeping and painting.
* Carry out and record routine safety and compliance checks in buildings and communities to ensure compliance.
* Manage admin tasks updating records, ordering, and arranging payment for works to be done.

You bring
* A background in property management, but that isn\'t a deal breaker. Experience in compliance and health and safety checks is also relevant.
* A "can do" positive attitude, proactive, well organised, and able to work on your own initiative.
* A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help customers.
* The ability to work on your own initiative and positively influence people from diverse backgrounds.
* Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners.
* Passion for property and pride in keeping properties in excellent condition for customers.

Job details
* Based at our service in the city, primarily in Rosary Road, but may cover other projects.
* Ability to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and completing tenancy sign-ups.
* Enhanced DBS check is required; we pay for this.
* Fortnightly rota system with 3-4 nights per week + sleep ins.
