About the role
Ceredigion Youth Justice Team is a dynamic, multi-agency partnership committed to reducing and preventing youth offending. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Case Worker to join our team and support young people across Ceredigion.
The Youth Justice Team sits within the wider Youth Service — a robust, inclusive provision dedicated to supporting young people’s personal, social and educational development. Through targeted interventions and open access opportunities, we empower young people to make informed choices and lead meaningful lives.
As a Case Worker, you will deliver a range of interventions in line with statutory duties and national standards which will support a varied caseload including prevention, out-of-court disposals, community sentences and custodial transitions. You will support the team in undertaking holistic assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual needs. You will also directly support young people, families, victims and multi-agency partners to promote safety, wellbeing and rehabilitation.

We provide early help, prevention and intervention services to a range of groups and individuals across the County. Our aim is to identify need and offer support before issues and concerns become too great and more formal intervention is needed. Our key functions include:
