DAY DRIVERS: START TIMES 05:00 - 09:00
NIGHT DRIVERS: START TIMES 17.00 - 23:30
ALL SHIFTS WORKING 5 DAYS ON, 3 DAYS OFF
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Severn Beach, Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Rates of Pay:
Day Drivers:
* Basic: £18.74 per hour
* Saturday: £20.84
* Sunday: £21.89
Night Drivers
* Basic: £19.79
* Saturday: £20.84
* Sunday: £21.89
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
* RDC or depot / store deliveries (some manual handling required)
* Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
* Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills
As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:
* Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
* Have a minimum of two years experience driving CE vehicles
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
* Have a valid CPC Card & UK Digi Card
* Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
* Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
* Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
* Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
* Experience driving any commercial vehicles
* Previous experience with multi drop deliveries
Training
* Driver's Assessment must be completed
* After successful Assessment, there will be a one day paid induction
* Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
