We are now looking for a Head of E-commerce to lead our UK e-commerce function and drive the continued growth of our global D2C and marketplace channels.


This is a high-impact role for a commercially focused leader who thrives on scaling digital businesses, driving performance, and delivering exceptional customer experiences across multiple markets.


Your Mission

You will be responsible for shaping and delivering our e-commerce strategy across D2C and marketplace platforms, with accountability for growth, performance, and customer experience in the UK and beyond.

Working closely with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders, you will lead the development of a scalable, high-performing digital ecosystem while identifying new opportunities to expand into additional markets and channels.


Alongside this, you will optimise performance across all touchpoints, using data and insights to improve conversion, enhance the customer journey, and drive sustainable growth.


What you'll be doing

  • Define and deliver our global digital strategy across D2C and marketplace platforms
  • Drive performance across UK & EU D2C sites, with full accountability for:
  • Revenue
  • Traffic
  • Conversion
  • Average Order Value (AOV)
  • Optimise website performance through SEO, UX/UI, site speed, mobile experience, and localisation
  • Use data and analytics to improve performance, conversion, and customer retention
  • Partner with marketing to drive growth via PPC, email, and social channels
  • Lead the UK marketplace strategy, including Amazon and other platforms
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and supply chain to deliver successful product launches and campaigns


Leadership & Team

  • Lead and develop a high-performing e-commerce team across trading, merchandising, digital marketing, CRM, content, analytics, and customer experience
  • Set clear objectives and KPIs, driving performance and continuous development
  • Build scalable team structures to support ongoing growth
  • Manage agency and external partner relationships to ensure strong delivery
  • Foster a customer-centric, collaborative, and data-driven culture
  • Influence and align senior stakeholders across the business


What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a senior e-commerce leadership role, ideally within consumer goods
  • Strong track record of scaling D2C businesses and launching into global markets
  • Expertise across digital marketing channels including PPC, SEO, social, and email
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Shopify Plus and tools like Google Analytics
  • Strong understanding of consumer trends and emerging technologies in e-commerce
  • Experience managing third-party marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, TikTok Shop, etc.)
  • A confident and inspiring leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
