Mentoring and supporting members of the department, including ECTs and trainee teachers. Developing and implementing innovative teaching resources and digital strategies to enhance student engagement. Monitoring student data and coordinating targeted interventions to ensure every pupil reaches their potential. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). A strong degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related discipline. Proven success teaching English at KS3 and KS4, with a track record of excellent exam results. Previous experience in a leadership role or a clear readiness to move into middle management. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire both students and colleagues.
