About the role
We are looking for an experienced ICT Delivery & Demand Manager to join us at Salix Homes on a maternity cover basis. In this role the ICT Delivery and Demand Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of ICT projects and services, ensuring alignment with business needs and demand management within Salix Homes.
This role acts as the bridge between the ICT department and organisation functions, facilitating the effective prioritisation, planning, and delivery of technology solutions that drive operational efficiency and organisational priorities. The manager will ensure that ICT resources are allocated efficiently, that projects are delivered on time, and that organisation needs are met with high-quality solutions.
The role - What You'll be doing
* Oversee the end-to-end delivery of ICT initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, meet defined objectives, and stay within financial constraints.
* Serve as the key connection point between ICT and other departments to identify and align on both current and emerging technology requirements.
* Manage and track project milestones, proactively manage risks, and address issues promptly to keep projects on course.
* Take ownership of ICT project budgets, focusing on value for money and effective resource allocation.
* Align new project requests with the long-term ICT strategy, ensuring that internal capabilities are used efficiently to support business priorities.
What we're looking for
* Multiple years of experience in ICT project management, service delivery, or demand management roles
* Ability to align ICT delivery with broader Salix Homes goals and to manage competing priorities effectively.
* Expertise in resource planning and allocation to optimise ICT capacity and meet fluctuating demand.
* Proven experience managing ICT resources, projects, and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Experience of supporting procurement activities including supporting negotiations, supplier selection and contract close
