Job Description
This position involves the refresh of all networks for Optel within power stations, specifically for the National Grid. You will work on both new and existing builds, ensuring a smooth transition from tap sites to full Optel sites. The role is crucial in facilitating the migration from SDH to MPLS TP through the installation of new Optel cabinets.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement network refresh projects for Optel within power stations.
* Facilitate the transition of existing builds from tap sites to full Optel sites.
* Install and configure new Optel cabinets.
* Ensure a smooth migration from SDH to MPLS TP technology.
Essential Skills
* Proficiency in design and engineering within the telecommunication sector.
* Experience with schematic and CAD design.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD and SDH technology.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience with basic rack face layout type drawings.
