Overview
The Royal School is seeking a highly motivated, experienced and innovative Psychology teacher to join an ambitious and successful social science team in this heavily oversubscribed day and boarding free school. The aptitude and enthusiasm to teach a range of abilities up to A level is essential. Motivation and passion for the subject is crucial. The school values a holistic view of the personal development of the child and a wider enrichment programme across an all-through 4-19 boarding and day school.
All staff contribute to the extensive enrichment programme and are encouraged to participate in activities outside the classroom.
Responsibilities
* Teach Psychology up to A-level.
* Contribute to the development of department teaching and learning resources across the subject area.
* Be an inspiring classroom practitioner who engages students and fosters their passion for the subject, theoretical understanding and independent learning.
* Support and extend the department’s co-curricular provision, including clubs, competitions, seminars, trips and visits.
* Participate in the school CPD programme and the wider enterprise team to develop professionally and share best practice.
Qualifications
* Strong, relevant degree.
