About The Role
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
For you, as a Housekeeping Assistant, that will mean keeping the home the cleanest, most hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming. The environment you maintain will reflect your excellent attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning, you’ll do so with kindness and professionalism.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we’ll provide comprehensive training. You’ll need excellent time management and organizational skills, along with positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people. You should be a good communicator, skilled at listening and giving instructions. Every interaction with residents or colleagues should be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know what actions to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns appropriately, including escalation if necessary.
We’ll provide full training, offering a great opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you will enjoy a wide range of benefits and services supporting your physical and psychological well-being. Throughout your career as a Housekeeping Assistant, we will invest in you and provide additional support, including:
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* Hourly rate commensurate with experience and qualifications
* Company pension scheme
* 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays
