Job Opportunity: Part Time Cleaning Operative
Location: Dorking Council Offices
Shift: 5:30pm - 8:00pm, Monday to Friday (12.5 hours per week)
Rate: £12.60
per hour
Monitor Cleaning Services is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team. If you are friendly, self-motivated, hardworking, and reliable, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Dusting, damp wiping, or washing walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames.
* Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
* Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
* Hoovering carpeted areas.
* Emptying waste bins and transporting waste to designated collection points.
* Mixing cleaning supplies in correct quantities for safe use.
* Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
* Cleaning toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks.
* Cleaning communal kitchen areas.
Personal Skills:
* Hardworking and self-motivated
* Reliable with a positive attitude
* Friendly and customer-focused
* Knowledge of cleaning substances and techniques (preferred)
* Ability to work independently and follow a schedule
* Good timekeeping and personal presentation
* Strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements for safe working practices
