About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to lead our catering operation and manage a team of 11 staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate food professional to take ownership of a diverse and fast-paced food service environment.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service delivery, compliance, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of 11 catering staff
* Plan and deliver high-quality, nutritious menus
* Manage food ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships
* Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company policies
* Oversee hospitality events and special catering requests
* Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost controls
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and kitchen organisation
* Ensure smooth operation of vending services
About You
* Proven experience in a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or senior catering role
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent organisational and communication abilities
* Financial awareness with experience managing budgets and GP
* Food Safety Level 3 (or equivalent) desirable
* Flexible and adaptable approach to business needs
