Our kitchen team are regional & national award winners We currently hold 2 AA rosettes and are finalists in the Food Lifestyle Awards 2025.
Part Time Position of hours a week (2-4 shifts).
Training provided, confidence is important for this role. A reliable transport method is necessary, as public transport in Lacock is limited.
Pay is per hour, plus addition of exceptional tips. 30% staff discount at the Inn
GENERAL MISSION
* Responsible for serving and running food and beverages in restaurant efficiently and in a most courteous manner.
* Carry out all duties in accordance with tasks and descriptions with reference to established rules and policies.
* Commit to the Values and Vision of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS
* Performs any other duties as may be assigned by your superior.
* Consistently act as an ambassador of the establishment.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Suggests food and beverages - to be well versed with the menu, method of preparation and accompaniments.
* Cleans and polishes Glassware, China ware, hollowware and flatware.
* Maintains cleanliness of working station and service pantry for smooth operation.
* Keeps general appearance and maintenance of Restaurant working areas.
* Follows correct sequence of service outlined in training.
* Cleans and removes dishes from the table after service is completed.
* Cleans all spillage during mealtime and at closing.
* Information Technology – use of EPOS till system
