Job Description

Our firm is seeking a highly experienced Partner to drive strategic value across our portfolio of 120 companies, managing $3Bn in assets under management (AUM). This role is designed for former C-level executives with a world-class, board-level understanding of a key business function - whether Sales, Marketing, Product, or Development – and the ability to leverage that expertise by advising a leadership team. The ideal candidate will also possess deep expertise in one or more verticals, such as Finance, Retail, Enterprise Technology or similar. This is a venture capital role, so experience with minority positions is essential. This position is essential in shaping the success of our investments, particularly within the UK, Europe, and Israel, where we concentrate on technology and SaaS businesses selling into the enterprise. The Venture Partner will work closely with CEOs and boards, acting as a Non-Executive Director (NED) when required, and guiding liquidity strategies to optimize fund returns.


Responsibilities

* Portfolio Value Optimization: Actively engage with leadership teams across the portfolio to drive operational efficiency, scale growth, and position companies for strategic exits.
* Executive Guidance: Provide hands-on mentorship and strategic direction to CEOs and boards, leveraging deep expertise in key business functions.
* Board Participation: Serve as a Non-Executive Director (NED) on select portfolio companies, ensuring strong governance and execution of strategic priorities.
* Liquidity Strategy: Assess and execute liquidity events, including divestitures, secondary transactions, and capital injections to enhance fund performance.
* Market Insights & Timing: Leverage global business acumen to determine optimal timing for liquidity events, aligning with market conditions and fund strategy.
* Network & Influence: Utilize an extensive network within relevant verticals to unlock partnerships, customer opportunities, and capital connections.


Profile - we seek a distinguished operator with:


* C-level leadership experience in a high-growth, enterprise-focused company, probably in the technology space.
* Board-level expertise in key functions such as Sales, Marketing, Product, or

Development.

* Operational advice with the ability to work with and mentor a portfolio company on devising a plan but also assisting them in determining the means to implementation.
* Deep sector knowledge in one or more high-impact verticals (e.g. Fintech, Insuretech, SaaS/PaaS).
* Proven strategic acumen in fund liquidity planning, including asset divestiture and secondary markets.
* Strong global network to drive tangible value across the portfolio.
* Experience working with venture capital investors as an operator, driving value creation and exit strategies.
* Track record of successful exits, having been part of at least one (preferably multiple) liquidity events, including acquisitions or IPOs.
* Experience working with investors and venture-backed startups at the highest levels.
