A leading multinational insurance broker are looking to appoint an experienced Trade Credit Account Handler to help support a number of large corporate clients.

The Trade Credit Account Handler will provide support to the Account Executive with running of the client portfolio, including setting up all appropriate actions required for contract renewal.
The Account Handler is the first point and will manage general enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, obtaining quotations, closing sales, invoicing of premiums and cross selling.
About the role:
Liaise with and support the Account Executive to ensure an appropriate strategy for renewal and new business cases.
Undertake market exercises to establish the most competitive terms available.
Obtain renewal terms and present to client.
Assist with new business.
Produce and issue professional summaries and reports.
Issue renewal documentation in line with contract certainty.
Ensure premiums are collected prior to the commencement of cover and in line with company procedures.
Handle all queries, whether written or by telephone, in a professional manner and process effectively in line with service standards.
Process adjustments in line with procedures, including notification to insurers, issue of revised documentation, and collection of additional premium.
Actively cross-sell products from other Divisions.
Refer all queries that fall outside your own experience, knowledge and authority to senior.
Key skills/experience required:
Previous Trade Credit Insurance experience gained within a commercial insurance environment, either Broking or Underwriting
Good communication, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent relationship building skills.
The ability to work under pressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly
Influencing and negotiation skills
Commercial awareness
An eagerness to progress with your CII qualification would be supported, but is not essential
