Our client is seeking an experienced Factory Sewing Machinist to join their growing team. This role requires strong practical sewing skills, particularly with lockstitch and overlock machines. You will play a key part in the production process, ensuring high-quality output within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
3. Operate industrial lockstitch and overlock sewing machines to produce a variety of fabric products.
4. Work from patterns, templates, or instructions to ensure accurate and consistent production.
5. Maintain high standards of quality, checking completed items for accuracy and finish.
6. Meet daily production targets while maintaining attention to detail.
7. Perform routine machine maintenance and report any faults or issues.
8. Ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
9. Work collaboratively with the wider production team to support workflow and deadlines.
What We’re Looking For:
10. Previous experience as a sewing machinist (1 year preferred)
11. Experience with factory-based sewing machinery, specifically lockstitch and overlock
