Self-employed carer/support worker required/6 hours per day, except Tuesday and Thursday/BH23 area (EM/MW)
About The Role
We are looking for a carer/support worker to provide support to a young female, in her 20s, who is autistic and needs help accessing shopping, going on outings, walking her assistance dog, making and attending medical appointments.
She requires support in the following areas:
* Taking her prescribed medication
* Ensuring she attends to her personal care needs
* Maintaining a healthy, balanced diet and regular meals
* Providing emotional support
* Managing paperwork and bills
* Attending appointments
* Building a good routine
* Exploring education and desired work goals
* Maintaining healthy relationships
* Assisting with managing financial matters
* Accessing the community
Hourly Rate – As a self-employed worker, please provide rates of pay on application.
Day & Times – 6 hour shifts available each day of the week currently.
The BCP Direct Payments Advice Service is a support service for individuals who are living independently within the community. We are not the person you will work for. You will work for the individual or family we are supporting.
