Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a positive environment for our clients.
Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
* Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring their preferences and requirements are met.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes. .
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English or south asian language to interact effectively with clients and team members.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and using electronic care management systems.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to manage individual responsibilities.

* 12 hour shifts 8am - 8pm
* night shifts 8pm till 8am
* working with eight support workers and one senior on every shift
* Documentation training will be provided

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 22 – 40 per week
