Job Title: Locum General Medicine Consultant with specialist interested in Oncology
Location: South Wales, UK
Rate: £100-£120ph. PAYE only
Contract Type: Locum (short‑term and long‑term assignments available)
Details: Start ASAP. Mon‑Fri, full or part time available. Predominantly ward cover 0900‑1700, covering inpatients.
Regarding oncology: The agency worker should have experience starting SACT, reviewing patients at all stages of treatment and liaising with tertiary centres for any escalation. We would be interested in any general medicine consultant who has had these experiences or who has liaised with tertiary centres for advice.

About The Role
As a locum Consultant in General Medicine, you'll deliver high‑quality care to patients across a range of acute and general medical settings.
Responsibilities
* Managing inpatient and outpatient general medicine services.
* Supporting junior doctors and MDTs.
* Contributing to service development and audits.
* Providing high‑quality patient care.
Essential Qualifications
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
* CCT in General Medicine (or within 6 months of achieving it).
* Current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check, or willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process.
* UK Right to Work.
* Strong communication and team‑working skills.
